Greece. A life-changing experience!

The Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) released a new video advertising campaign with the message ” Greece. A life-changing experience!”  promoting the country to worldwide visitors and strengthening its tourism product.  The video aims to attract travelers to visit Greece while featuring the experiences of a tourist during her holidays: What does a tomato taste like when washed in the sea? How does it feel to dive from high cliffs into crystal-clear water? Want to dance in arms with strangers at panigiria (open-air celebrations).?

The Hellenic Tourism Organization wanted to present this side of Greece this year, revealing to travelers that our country offers,
through people and nature, experiences beyond the typical ones. For example, a path leading to the most beautiful, hidden beach or a night at a crazy island festival.

“Coming to Greece is not really a holiday… It’s so much more! … It’s a life-changing experience!”

The new campaign was presented at the GNTO’s headquarters in Athens attended by the Greek Minister of Tourism Vassilis Kikilias, the President of GNTO Angela Gerekou, and Dimitris Fragakis the GNTO General Secretary. The campaign “Greece. A life-changing experience” is the latest promotion launched by the GNTO in the past four years, especially during the period of the pandemic.

“Holidays in Greece are not an easy task… Steps to climb, hot sand to walk on, roosters to wake you up, hot sun, dirt roads, villages in the middle of nowhere, unusual tastes. But these “difficulties” arising from the untouched nature, simplicity, and authenticity of the country are what make the holidays here, an unrepeatable life experience.”Remarkable experiences that some may have never lived before in their lives!
